Become An Affiliate Champion: 10 Tips

Affiliates programs are one of the easiest ways to make money in the internet. Small fortunes have been made for smart people who have taken advantage of this powerful marketing technique.

This tips intend to help you on your way to become a high-earning affiliate champion, use it as a guideline to your success. Feel free to contact me if you need further information.

1. First thing first: Target your market. If you try to sell everything to everyone, you will sell nothing.

2. Choose the right program. Everyday you would find hundreds of new "get-rich-quick" programs on the net. Avoid them! Before joining any program, do some research. Trust only programs that have been consistently paying their affiliates

3. Join one program at a time, stick to it. Avoid distractions joining several programs at the same time. Stay focused on the best program chosen.

4. Promote, promote, promote!. I cant empathize enough. Promotion is the lifeblood of your program's success. Focus on marketing and nothing else. One easy way to promote is by joining a traffic exchange program, like traffic swarm.

5. Write your own classifieds ads, headlines, text links. BE CREATIVE. How many times have you seen the same old add given for an affiliate program! Stay away from the crowd.

6. Create a content website with a review of your affiliate program. Don't try to sell the program, instead, give your visitors the best review you can write of the program. Make a bulleted list of benefits YOU have found on that program.

7. Refer to your program's web site with a TEXT LINK. Avoid using banners. People tend to look banners as a sales pitch and doesn't like it. People in your site are looking for information, not to buy. So give them some information. Make them want more information, then give them your text link.

8. Compile your own mailing list. Offer your visitor a freebie, a newsletter, a free e-book, a report... In exchange, ask for their contact info. The key here is to get their address.

9. Follow up with this list. Contact them at least once a week. Build trust. Make them know you and trust you.

10. Track your advertising results and make corrections as necessary. If the program is good, you can profit from it. Do whatever it needs to be done to achieve you goals.

How to Choose an Affiliate Winner

The idea of using affiliate programs is to produce extra income and in the process attain total financial freedom. More and more people from all over the world are looking for a real winner.

The problem is, affiliate programs are sprouting up all over the place and there's just too many of them to keep up with. This makes the choice of the best one or ones to signup for a frustrating and time consuming process.

Before you signup for any affiliate program, I advise you to run through this check list:

1. Think about the product:

Is it a product that you would use regularly and freely recommend to your friends? Is it lower priced and more convenient to use than similar products/services available elsewhere? Finally, what about delivery. How much of a time interval is involved from when your customer orders until they receive the product/service?

2. Find out as much about the operation as you possibly can:

Beware of chain letters, pyramid scams, and exorbitant claims relative to distributor profits. Be sure to find out exactly what you will be getting in return for your initial signup fee.

3. Find out about the companies financial backing and corporate officers:

Are they in it as full-time professional sales people? Be sure to understand/know how the company keeps track of all the incoming orders and when as well as how you will be paid.

In essence, before deciding to become involved in an affiliate program and expect to make a profit, it is essential that you understand:

It is a selling proposition. You will be required to do atleast some advertising.

You must have a product/service that appeals to most people. In other words, information or services that will enable people to fulfill their basic wants and/or needs.

You need assistance, instruction and help, in not only selling the product/service but in how to find new customers on an ongoing basis. Once you have decided to try your hand at affiliate programs and you have become affiliated with a company that has a product/service you feel will appeal to most people. The next thing is to determine how YOU want to sell it.

Remember the amount of time you spend in actually trying to sell the product will determine the amount of money you will make.

It's up to you to decide just how much time you will spend with your extra income producing project.

Picking a winning affiliate program can be exasperating because there are so many to choose from, but the ordeal can be a lot more profitable if you will ask yourself the questions I have outlined for you here.

Secrets of Super Affiliates

Have you ever wondered why it is very difficult for you to make a headway in the affiliate marketing game? Why have you signed up for so many programs with so much expectations and yet you have never being able to make a dime out of them all while some people are screaming about them making over $5,000 in the same program you signed for?

These people called "super affiliates" are just ordinary people like you but they do things differently from the rest of the crowd. They see the game from a different angle and they play it with a different strategy. How then do these super affiliates play their game?

The first strategy super affiliates adopt, is that instead of sending traffic to the site of the program/ product they are promoting, send it to theirs. You see, most people advertise their affiliate sites which people will go to and never buy anything.

Super affiliates understand that people are not inclined to buy anything at their first contact with the product, that they will need to be contacted on so many occasions before they can make the precious purchase. Super affiliates use this as an edge over their competitors.

When they drive traffic to their sites, they entice them to join their opt-in list by offering them something "nice" in return. After joining the list, the people can then be advertised to as long as the super affiliates want and so long the subscribers are not complaining.

So, it is very important for you to know that if you want to make it big in the affiliate game, you must have your own opt-in list. Stop spending money to send traffic away, instead bring them to your site and make them join your list by any means, it is very IMPORTANT.

Super affiliates do get to know the product they promote inside out. That is another advantage they exploit over their competitors. They buy the product they want to promote and they digest all the contents of the product so that they will be able to tell their prospects what is in it for them.

How many times have you signed up to promote a product you don't even know about? Do you think if a sales person turns up at your door to tell you of a product, he cannot even tell its usefulness to you, will you buy from such a person? No! That is why some people will not buy whatever you promote, because they don't really know what it will do for them and what it has done for you the promoter.

Get to know what you are promoting so that you can tell your prospects what the product is all about and how it can be of help to them. Your own personal testimonies matters a lot because it is what will motivate them to buy from you.

Another super affiliate's game plan is that they stand out from the crowd.

Hello! How many times have you seen hundreds of people advertising the same product using same banners, classifieds and reports/ articles? If a prospect had seen so many of those at other sites, what gives you the impression that he will buy from you?

Super affiliates understand this, so they write their own classifieds, use their own banners and also write special reports to promote their programs.

Prospects always get drawn to those who are doing something different from the maddening crowd. So if you want to be upgraded to the level of a super affiliate, STAND OUT!

The EXTRA also stands out make one a super affiliate. They add extra(s) to the product they are promoting. People always want to make purchase from those who offered more value for their money.

Let's assume ten affiliates approach you with the same product and nine of them offer the same thing and the last one chose to offer some extra bonuses to the product you are buying at the same amount. Which one will you probably buy from? The last one of course!

You can adopt this method too by offering a free report, course, freebie you got of the Net, an ebook or another product that is what the value of the one you are promoting. You have to offer MORE if you wish to sell MORE.

Lastly another super affiliate game plan I will wan to talk about, is that super affiliates always promote products in their chosen field.

How many times have you promoted some products in a field you don't even know a hoot about? When you promote products in your own niche, you will find out that you will be more enthusiastic about it and even if you have not gone through the product before, you can easily recommend it to people.

The manner you will say something about it will just look as if you have already gone through use the product. Marketing a product in your own niche market, will always give you an added advantage because it is your area of expertise. never bother looking at which area is HOT!

Just check your own niche market out and then promote any product you find adopting all the strategies highlighted above and see what becomes of you. If you happen to be a tennis buff, and you happen to be promoting golf products, which you don't know anything about? :(

What if a prospect decides to ask you a question about golf? :( Do you think you will have anything to say? That is why it is important to stay in your own niche.

I believe you too can become a SUPER affiliate in no mean time, if you will adopt the game plan mentioned above. If others are doing it, why not you?

Never get discouraged by the mistakes of yesterday, look up to tomorrow with bright hope. NOW is the to get started!

Why Join 2 Tier Affiliate Programs?

Like the more common single tier affiliate programs, 2 tier affiliate programs are a great basis for web-based partnerships between merchants and affiliates. Merchants can focus their efforts on what they should do best-creating high quality products and getting them to customers. Meanwhile, affiliates concentrate on producing interesting content to attract web traffic. And when they successfully refer visitors to buy affiliate products, an affiliate commission is earned.

However, 2 tier affiliate programs have an additional attraction for affiliates. When they sign up sub-affiliates under them, and these sub-affiliates successfully make affiliate sales, the original affiliate also earns a referral commission. The result is that affiliates not only make a profit from their direct sales efforts, but also benefit from the leveraged effects of sub-affiliates under them.

While 2 tier affiliate programs are definitely a new and rapidly growing trend in affiliate marketing, the traditional rules still apply. Choose only good products, with high sales conversions (check out the persuasiveness of the merchants website), and only work with merchants who pay regularly! After all, there's no reason to waste precious traffic on affiliate products are hard to sell, or on merchants who don't make it a point to send those commissions on time.

All else being equal, 2 Tier Affiliate Programs are a good alternative for webmasters hoping to add an additional stream of revenue to their sites.

Pay-per-click – the Ultimate Tool to Boost Affiliate Sales

The old ways are not always the best ways.

The traditional model of making money from affiliate products was simple. Create an interesting website geared to a specific theme, slap up some banners for affiliate products that were related to your theme, and sit back, hoping that some of the audience your website drew would click on those banners, giving you some sales. If you really wanted to get creative you might have done some email campaigns for specific products on the side.

But email campaigns are mostly ineffective (and God-forbid you should spam anyone). And banner advertisements don’t generally work. And websites take a long time to build, and promote. And even longer to get good ranking in the search engines.

So it was a slow steady process. There were no ‘quick routes’ to affiliate gold.

Until now.

Hang on to your hats, ladies & gentlemen, because pay-per-click advertising is here!

Pay-per-click search engines like Google AdWords and Overture offer an exciting way to quickly bring highly-targeted, highly-motivated people who want to buy straight to your affiliate products and services. You don’t even have to have a website.

All you have to do is write a cleverly worded ad describing your affiliate product and put it up. When searchers click on your ad, they are whisked right to the affiliate product, and given the opportunity to purchase. Wham, you’ve just made money. It really is that simple.

To demonstrate how quick and powerful pay-per-click advertising can be, I’ll offer myself as an example. I came into the ‘let’s make money on the Internet’ game late, and when I started I didn’t even have a website, and I barely knew what an ‘affiliate’ was.

The first month I cleared $1500 in profits, even though I barely knew what I was doing. For every one dollar I spent on pay-per-click, I got three dollars back in profits. And I was a total newbie, a ‘marketing virgin’. I didn’t have a website, I didn’t know how to conduct an email campaign, and I barely knew what a ‘tracking URL’ was. Does that wake anybody up to the power of pay-per-click advertising?

However, don’t think it’s all wine and roses in the pay-per-click field. The fact is, almost everyone who tries it fails, at least initially. I failed myself, by the way. The first two days I netted over $50 in losses. And I still maintain those were the most valuable two days of my entire pay-per-click experience, in terms of how much I learned, and how quickly I adapted to the learning curve.

So don’t go into it with false expectations. Pay-per-click has a learning curve. But if you’re willing to demonstrate a little stick-to-it-ness, pay-per-click can be wildly profitable, and kick-start your affiliate sales business.

Earning Money Through Affiliate Links

There are several ways of earning money through your website. Between them are selling your own product, selling advertising space, and selling affiliate products. Here we are going to discuss several aspects of selling affiliate products.

You must sell something related to your site

One of the advantages of the web is that is easier to target your audience. On tv for example you have to show your add to everybody watching the tv show. Although you can do some market segmentation by showing your ad on shows for kids, or for teenage girls for example, the market segmentation on the web if much more specific. If your site is about how to grow orchids in the winter, you have a very specific audience. You have the opportunity to target your ads towards your specific audience. You could make a search in google for orchid affiliate and select a merchant from the ones that appear listed.

How to find the right program for you

One option is to look for them on affiliate programs directories. There are many of this on the web and all contain lots of links to affiliate programs that are not part of a network.

There are several affiliate networks with which you can work. The advantage of using an affiliate network is that you have many advertisers to choose. If one not work you can switch to another one easily. Also, affiliate networks are more "trustable". The reality is that some companies don't report all the sales that you make. The disadvantage is that this affiliate networks take part of the revenue so you end up with less than working directly with the company, although this is relative.

Another good option is to use google adsense program. They spider your site and their program selects automatically the ads that are geared toward your site audience. Being text ads they also have a greater click through rate than normal banners.

Other factors to take in consideration

If you choose a program that pay you commissions per sale you have to take in consideration the final sale volume for your site for that product. For example there may be a product that gives you a higher percentage per sale but is sold less that another with less percentage per sale but that is easier to sell.

Take time to do some research, ask on webmaster forums for the program that you are thinking of promoting. On this kind of forums you will find objective opinions of each program. Some questions that you may ask are, Does this program pays on time? Do they report all sales? Check the sites of people in the forum that are using the same program and compare
it whit yours. In that way you will have a better idea of your site chances of earning profit with the same sponsor.

Affiliate Programs make it Easier

If you ever had the desire to start your own online internet business from home, you may have never heard the word "affiliate programs" before. If you did come across this word before, you may also have found the affiliate program review opportunities available that are online are overwhelming. So where do you begin?

Affiliate Programs - Know how

Affiliate programs may be the easiest online business to start running. Why?

With any online business you must have a product or service to sell. First you must create this product or service and then you must be able to fill orders or find people who will sell it for you for a hefty commission.

Selling your own product or service also means creating a website, learning how to write ad copy, setting up a marketing plan, being able to accept payments online and obviously doing the work. If you're selling a physical product then you will need to make or buy the item, package it and pay for shipping costs. If you provide a service than you will likely have to start by doing free jobs to build your credibility and then when you are charging for your service you are still limited by how much work you can actually handle.

The magic of affiliate programs

starting with an affiliate program is a great way to get started in the online business world. In fact there are even some 'Super Affiliates' who are making nice and comfortable full time incomes from affiliate programs.

So, what exactly are affiliate programs?

Affiliate programs allow you to sell another company's service or product and make a commission on every sale or lead. You do not even need to build a website, process the order, ship the product to the person, or anything like that. Your only job is to drive traffic (customers) to your affiliate link and hope that they click on it and buy the product.

An aff
iliate link is a special URL code that will identify customers coming to the company's site from your advertising. It will likely be the website address with a code attached to the end.

Some affiliate programs also have tiers. That means if someone who is interested in SELLING the product comes through your link and signs up you will also get a small percentage of THEIR earnings. This is also called internet network marketing.

How do you choose the right program?

Try to determine if people are buying or looking to buy that product or service online. Is it cheaper or more expensive? There are many sources for finding that information including free ones such as the Overture keyword tool.

When you have found an area that is popular then type the subject along with 'affiliate program' into your search engine and see which programs have services or products for that area. You can also use an affiliate program review directory.

When you have found a program that looks interesting you should read the terms of the program. Make sure that payouts are not based on a high commission earning or you may never see your money. Also try to choose programs with high commission rates. Often you will find e-books and downloadable software has the highest rates as there is no physical product to make or ship. If you are satisfied with the terms then you need to sign up - usually a simple process.

Starting your marketing efforts

The reason affiliate programs are so wonderful for beginners and starters is that you only need to focus on marketing it and not making the actual product itself.

Many affiliate programs have information on how to market and give you tools such as solo ads, product feeds and more. The Plug in Profit Site is exactly what an affiliate program should be like. It has all the right tools to marketing online such as writing articles, creating pay-per-click campaigns, commenting in online forums etc.

Take AdSense to The Next Level

You’ve probably heard a lot about Google AdSense , but you may not know just what it is. Well, it’s a one of the hottest new ways to make money online without having to do a whole lot.

Kids in high school are making money with Adsense. Stay at home mom and dads, who have never made a dime on the internet before are earning full-time incomes by simply placing Adsense ads on their web site or blog.

These are just some of the new Adsense earners that are on their way to making hundreds of thousands of dollars just by promoting Adsense sites.

Now you can take Adsense to the next level. Adsense is the greatest way to earn passive income.
And passive income is the best kind of income to have. Passive income is income that you get without having to work for it.

This may sound like some kind of get-rich-quick scheme, but passive income real. In fact, every single billionaire on earth uses the power of passive income to keep money coming in while he or she enjoys life on the beach.

A good example of passive income is real estate. When you own an apartment building or some houses and hire a property manager and a maintenance crew to take care of it for you and collect the rents, all you have to do is cash the checks that roll in.

Of course, passive income doesn’t just happen overnight, or everyone would be getting it. In the case of the apartment building owner, it took money, time, and knowledge to set up a corporation, find a building to buy, put up the cash to buy it and all of the rest of the work that goes alone with it.

Well, Google Adsense is the online equivalent of that. You’ll have to invest just a little bit of time in learning about it, but once you get it set up you can look forward to seeing those nice checks roll in.

So Just What is Google Adsense?

Google AdSense is a fast and absolutely ridiculously easy way for people with websites of all types and sizes to put up and display relevant Google ads on the content pages of their site and earn money.

Because the Google AdSense ads relate to what your visitors came to your site to read about, or because the ads match up to the interests and characteristics of the kind of people your content attracts, you now have a way to improve your content pages AND make some serious bucks off of them.

Google AdSense is also a way for site owners to provide Google search capability to visitors and to earn even more money by putting Google ads on the search results pages. Google AdSense gives you the ability to earn advertising revenue from every single page on your website—with a minimal investment of your time.

So what kind of ads do you have to put up?

That’s the good part—you don’t have to decide. Google does it for you.

AdSense always delivers relevant ads that are precisely targeted—on a page-by-page basis—to the content that people find on your site. For example, if you have a page that tells the story of your pet fish, Google will send you ads for that site that are for pet stores, fish food, fish bowls, aquariums…you get the picture.

If you decide you want to add a Google search box to your site, then AdSense will deliver relevant ads targeted to the Google search results pages that your visitors’ search request generated.

What is the next level?

Find a private label niche product and create a content site. Do not focus on selling the product. Focus on giving content. You could mention the product in your articles, but focus on content.

Along with Adsense, and your product you could add some well selected affiliate products, and BAM! you have a money making site, with a multiple stream of income.

Optimize your site with good keywords. You can find good keywords for your niche by going to http://www.yahoo-business.com/cgi-bin/key/keywordtool.cgi and type in one keyword. It will give you a list of related keywords and total searches.

Adsense Content Sites Lock in Your Long Term Adsense Wealth

The second major method of making money from Google Adsense is the now popular VRE (Virtual Real Estate) method. The goal of this method is to make a great content site in a niche market that people will actually like to visit because it has interesting content. These sites are usually for the most part more hand made and rely on content like articles and rss/news feeds with Adsense scattered through to make their revenue.

These sites can take longer to get listed and longer to start making money (depending on your marketing) but will be around for longer, and will almost never be delisted from the SE’s. The way these sites make good money is by getting a lot of traffic over time, whereas in method one your trying to make a lot of little sites with smaller amounts of traffic.

The benefits of this method are that you are building long term wealth. As these sites grow and age with time their rankings will be improved (provided they are maintained well by you) they will get more traffic and bring more revenue. And you will never have to worry about them getting yanked from the SE’s.

Another benefit is that less people at the moment are willing to make sites like this because they take a bit more work and aren’t the easy way out. So, if you can capitalize on this method now, you will be way ahead in the future when everyone making sites solely with the Automation method goes broke because that method becomes obsolete.

Cons of this method are that it is generally more expensive to setup a VRE site and it takes more time. However this is compensated by the fact that the site will stay around longer and hence have longer to pay itself off. It also takes a little more internet know how because these sites have to be marketed well. Nothing too tricky but certainly requiring more effort than with the Automation Method.

The last note is that you can actually profit from pre made VRE sites VERY RARELY. I definitely don’t advise you to go out and buy almost any pre made Adsense sites but there are a few exceptions and you might be able to pick up through this report, the criteria for purchasing a decent one that will be worth your investment.

Basically content sites are a good way to ensure some long term profits before automated site making folk have forseen the true future of the adsense program and responded appropriately.

Creating Additional Value From E Book Sales

The act of selling an eBook can be a profitable experience. When one considers the relatively inexpensive nature of eBooks with resell rights and the ways by which cheap eBay auctions can be constructed, the selling of eBooks at auction can be a wonderful means of creating revenue.

However, it is a mistake to look at a completed eBook transaction as the end of the potential profits. EBooks can be sold in a manner that produces a lingering value for the seller simply via the inclusion of affiliate links either within the eBook or as part of the delivery of the eBook.

Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to generate an online income. It works quite simply. If someone purchases a product after using your uniquely coded link to get to the sales page, you receive a commission on the sale. Many companies and product manufacturers offer affiliate programs and all eBook sellers should take a close look at their potential.

For instance, if you are selling an eBook about widgets, you may want to consider joining an affiliate program offered by someone in the business of selling widgets. Along with the eBook you have sold, you can include a mailing that includes some additional widget information. This might just be an email to the buyer included with the eBook. It could even be offered in the form of a free “special report” offered along with the eBook.

Regardless of the format, this additional communication would include a link back to your affiliate partner. If your customer decides to make a purchase via the links you provide, you will then receive additional revenue in the form of a sales commission.

Affiliate commissions can be quite high and even if your efforts produce very few conversions, it can still be a profitable exercise and a great way to increase the potential value of the eBook transaction to the seller.

If you are selling an eBook you have self-authored, or one that came with private label rights allowing for full editing and customization, you can include affiliate links within the eBook itself. This is a powerful technique for driving qualified traffic to affiliate sites that can really help improve your bottom line.

One does, of course, risk transforming the sale of an informational product into mere advertisement by overusing affiliate links. This should be avoided, as it generally decreases the likelihood of affiliate sales and also creates a lower perceived value for the eBook itself.

However, judicious use of affiliate links is a great way by which an eBook seller can add an additional profit dimension to the products he or she is selling on eBay. Selling eBooks can, in and of itself, generate some eye-opening profits, but by using affiliate measures one can really supercharge their potential earnings after the eBook sale is already made!

How To Earn More With AdSense

Google AdSense is a great way to supplement your web site's income! So what exactly is Google AdSense? This is a program run by Google that pays you per click. You sign up for free, paste a little bit of code on your website and every time someone clicks the links on your site, you get paid a certain amount per click.

Some clicks are worth higher than others depending on the "keyword" that the ad is targetting. What does this mean? Google AdSense are "contextual based" ads, meaning that they display the links for people to click on based on the context of your website.

For example if you have a website about "tennis" then the ads Google AdSense will display will be all about tennis. So if the text on your site that Google is basing their AdSense ads on is for "tennis balls", then the keyword phrase "tennis balls" may be paying higher per click than "tennis racket".

Here are a few tips to get better earnings with Google AdSense:

1. Don't make your ads look like ads! People are so "banner blind" now that they'll skim right over your AdSense ads if you make them look too much like actual ads. By removing the background and the border of your ads and making them blend in with your own site's background, it will help your sales tremendously!

2. Don't click your own links! It may be tempting to earn that potential .03 for yourself but in the long run it's not worth it! Google has ways to detect "click fraud" and you WILL get caught and you'll forfeit all of your earnings thus far.

3. Put your ads close to your content! Don't put your content way up at the top and then put your AdSense ads waaaay down at the bottom. You won't get very many click throughs. Make sure your web content is actually integrated with your ads.

4. Have relevant keywords on your site! If your site is about "web site traffic" and you just keep mentioning the word "traffic" by itself, your Google AdSense ads may display ads for rush hour traffic, or traffic jams. Which has nothing to do with your website. Keep your ads relevant by giving your content good, thorough keywords.

If you just apply these simply and effective tips, you WILL see an increase in your Google AdSense revenue! While it's best not to put all your eggs in one basket and have AdSense as your only income earner, it is definitely a good way to make a nice little supplemental income on your website!

Will I Get Rich Creating Adsense Sites

The honest answer is you certainly could. There are those webmasters who are definitely earning thousands per month on Adsense. A misconception that newcomers to the business of building Adsense sites is that one Adsense site will bring in thousands per month. Those sites are few and far between. It can be done but it may be easier to go at it a completely different way.

Build more targeted sites instead of building one killer site that forces to you to compete with top Search Engines Optimizers. The art of building Adsense sites is that you can get them listed in the Search Engines for free if you pick the right Niche. The traffic that gets to your site from the Search Engines is free. You net revenue for these smaller niche sites will be much higher because you will not have an advertising expense. Your visitors will be highly targeted and more apt to click on your ads creating more revenue per visitor.

The niche is the selection of a particular topic with specific keywords that Adsense will pay a premium for when your visitors click on the Adsense Ads. A niche may not be the most trafficked site but it is a topic that people are definitely interested in and web master who advertise for those customers are paying a high premium to get the click. A less trafficked niche with less competition from other webmasters is easier to get top rankings in the Search Engines with a little effort.

Picking a Niche with low traffic but high payouts means you are probably not going to make thousands for that site.

For instance I have a site that generates less than 600 unique visitors per month. When a visitor clicks on an Adsense Ad on this site I get close to $5 per click. That site can make anywhere from $25 to $150 per month with very little effort. I don’t have to struggle for top search engines listings for this site because the competition is very low at this time. The people who search for this topic find my site in the Search Engines. The visitors that come to my site via Search Engines are very zeroed in on the niche. I see 1 out of 3 clicking a link because they are truly looking for my niche. Picking a lowered trafficked high paying niche generates lots of clicks on Adsense ads, few visitors but high payouts when the visitors take action,

$150 per month is not enough to quit your day job, but find 10 niches like this, update the sites a couple times per week. Multiply 10 times $150 and now you are bringing in $1150 per month. Add another 10 and you are up to $2300 per month.

You can certainly find time to find new articles and new content for 20 – 50 sites if this is your full time job.

Online Money Transfers

By Seth Miller

The latest trend in money transfers is the Online Money Transfers. Under this, the money is transferred online from one account to another. There are various ways of doing an online money transfer.

Most banks offer this method. If you have signed up for the Internet user ID and password for your account, you can transfer money online from your account to the account of another person. However, most banks allow money to be transferred only to another account with the same bank due to security reasons. It is a safe and convenient method if the user takes care not to misplace his password.

The other form of online money transfer is using your email account. Companies like PayPal provide facilities for online transfer of money. This is quite an ingenious way of transferring money. Paypal requires you to create an account using your email ID. Once your account is created, you can fund it using either your credit card or your bank account. The funds in your account can be instantly transferred to another Paypal account. Money can be withdrawn from the PayPal account of the receiver either online, to the linked bank account or a check can be requested.

Banks and a lot of governments encourage online money transfers as well. In such cases there is no physical money changing hands. This helps the economy of a nation, as the government does not have to spend money on printing and maintaining currency notes. This type of money transfer is especially beneficial for long distance or international transfer of money across different countries. Companies such as Western Union, which have traditionally been in the money transfer business, also offer online money transfers.

Recently credit card companies such as Visa and MasterCard have also introduced online money transfer services which allow the quick transfer of money from one credit or debit card account to another.

You Have the Keywords, You Have the Website, but Do You Have the Strategy?

By Mark Nenadic. Mark Nenadic is the director and face behind FifteenDegrees-North http://www.15dn.com , where you will find articles and resources to help with SEO, marketing and Web design.

When youre a webmaster who cares a lot about the quality of your websites, you put a great deal of time and effort into them to make sure that theyre absolutely perfect. The odds are that this includes a complete search engine optimization strategy, which has to do with placing the right keywords into your content the right number of times.

Of course, the first thing you need to accomplish this is to have the right keywords. Not as easy as it may sound at first. There are many different elements that need to be considered when youre coming up with your search engine optimizing keywords.

Keywords, the words and phrases that people type into the search field of a directory or search engine to find websites on the internet, should be scattered periodically through every page of your website. However, knowing what words to use is only the start of things. Youll also need to consider:

How many different keywords you should be using for each web page.

What your keywords say about your business, and if they would realistically be used by someone searching for your site.

How many keyword phrases should be used in any given web page.

What are your word phrases and how have you separated them from your keywords.

To begin with, you need to truly understand keywords in order to use them properly. A keyword is a word that is used to describe your website and would therefore be used when searching for your site. Similarly, keyword phrases, or key phrases are groups of words that are used to describe your website.

For those web designers who have been designing for a while, keywords are the words that you used to use for creating meta tags back when meta tags still had any real application.

Your keywords should not only be search words, but should also be a good reflection of the content of your website. They shouldnt simply be random words that in no way relate to your site and what it represents. Even if you think that these keywords would generate a lot of traffic, if they do not lead to a site that has to do with what they imply, then the traffic they generate will be useless; the visitors wont stick around long enough to even see the color of your background. In fact, if your keywords have nothing to do with the content of your site, then youll likely find that your search engine ranking falls quite dramatically, instead of rising or maintaining its position.

The number of keywords and key phrases used in each of your web pages should never exceed twenty one or twenty two uses. You can use two keywords or key phrases in one web page, but just make certain that your combined use of the two of them does not exceed twenty one or twenty two times. Also, make sure that your content is substantial enough to support the high number of keyword uses. Its useless to use keywords over and over if they make up too much of the content as a whole. Most search engines will ignore any page that uses its keywords more than 22 times and that has a keyword density that is too high.

Key phrases can be rather tricky to use, since they are made up of more than one word. For example, if you use the words computer sales, that is a keyword phrase. This should be used with care, because if you use the individual words computer and sales too many times in addition to the key phrase, you might inadvertently run your total number of uses up over the maximum limit.

Therefore, when using key phrases, be aware of the individual words that make them up, and do a count of those words when youre done writing your content to make sure that you havent used your words so many times that the search engines wont consider them anymore.

Finally, make sure that your keywords fit well within the content of your web pages. Dont just use the words to get them in there. They need to suit the sentence, or the content will be extremely unprofessional and unappealing to the visitors who actually find the page and are attempting to read it. The last thing you want to do is to leave a bad taste in the mouth of the visitors who have actually found your site and want to use what it has to offer.

There Is Nothing Passive About Passive Income!

There are three types of income--earned, portfolio and passive income. Most types of passive income are derived from rental/property, while other types of passive income are derived from royalties from patents or license agreements.

An income stream falling into this category is one where money is received usually on a regular basis, without continuing effort. This does not mean no effort at all; most passive income streams require great effort to start with.

Passive Activity Income- is defined to include all income generated from rental real estate investments-- regardless of how active the investor is in managing the property or properties.(Real Estate Principles A Value Approach 2nd edition pg.519)

Examples of Passive Income

* Income from rental property * Royalties from writing a book. * Earnings from Network Marketing

I don't know about you but that seems like alot of work for something that is supposed to be passive. So when you see the ads for passive income think about the examples listed above.

Lets look at the examples of passive income listed.

Income from rental property:

Ok this is one we've all heard about. You buy a house or inherit a house or a number of other ways and decide to generate some passive income by renting the house and collecting the residuals which are hopefully more than the payments and other financial obligations you have for the house. Once all your obligations are met with respect to conforming to all regulatory statutes you find a renter and start collecting your monthly rent checks, if you are lucky. More times than not the rent checks are late, the plumbing needs to be fixed and the roof is leaking. These are a small example of things that can and will go wrong with a rental property. Passive income? Hardly!

Royalties from writing a book:

Well if you have the patience, knowledge and time to actually write something that someone is willing to pay you for, then by all means go ahead and do it. Perhaps two years to write the book, another year to actually get someone to publish the book and then of course you need someone to buy the book. But once this happens yup, you guessed it passive income. Most of us can't wait that long and don't really know enough about any one subject to dedicate that much time to wait for the passive income. Passive income? Eventually!

Earnings from network marketing:

Now network marketing is not new but it is certainly gaining notoriety among the online business crowd. Online network marketing is a popular venue for those interested in starting a home based business but don't want the costs associated with the old "Brick and Mortar" approach to financial freedom. But before you can get to the point where you are generating passive income there are steps which need to be taken to help insure your success. You must first have a product to sell or someone else's product to sell, ie:(affiliate marketing). You need the right tools and business model to emulate in order to place the odds of succeeding in your favor. You need startup capital for all your advertising needs and web hosting accounts. Unless you are proficient at web authoring you will need the aid of a programmer to get you that fancy website which you hope will make you a small fortune. These, along with other necessities , (which is out of the scope of this article), are necessary for this to qualify as passive income. However, there are systems that can be setup for you which will take alot of the guesswork out of starting from scratch. Passive income? Done right it could be!

Affiliate Marketing- How the Successful Entrepreneurs Make Money Online

Affiliate marketing is the number one way people make money online. If you are looking into making serious money online then you need to invest your time in learning the facts about this business. There are no legitimate get rich over night programs, but if you want to make serious income then you should look more into affiliate marketing.

Now the basics of affiliate marketing....

In order to establish a successful affiliate marketing business model you need to first sign up for accounts with each of these companies. Each is free and reputable and you can rest assured any information you give out will be kept protected.

Make accounts with these services:

I-N-Vest.com - By being in their system you can get personal assistance for any problems you may have while using affiliate marketing strategies. You can email them with any questions you have regarding affiliate marketing, generating traffic, and much more. They also can pay you to work online. By joining them you have access to investing tools, free information, job opportunities, and other great services. Also if you decide to work with them, and complete 100 jobs, they will personally show you how to make thousands a year and guide you through every step of the process.

Google - this will be used for allowing you to post profit generating ads, and drive traffic to your site using Google Groups.

eBay - eBay is a very powerful tool that makes it easy for you to buy and sell products. While this is not a pivotal part of affiliate marketing, it can be very useful. It can also drive traffic.

Clickbank - Clickbank is extremely powerful tool that will be discussed later, but right now you need to know that it provides you with detailed stats about products you can host links to and receive 75% of each sale. You register with Clickbank, then it will automatically give you products to choose from, once you have selected one it will create a link for you to use and you can get up to 75% of every sale that results from your link. It is completely free for you to use as well. We reccomend the CB Profit Tool Kit. It is an affiliate marketing super tool, that anyone who wants to use clickbank for profit needs. It gives you programs that will automatically create entire product malls and product lists with your affiliate links built in already, so that you dont have to spend time doing this yourself. It has many other great features and you can try it for free.

Forums - By creating accounts with multiple forums you allow yourself to easily reach a large amount of potential customers, drive traffic to your website, and generate advertising profits.

Once you have accounts established with each of these companies you have made a vital first step towards success with affiliate marketing. Now we will discuss the basic elements of affiliate marketing and how each of the tools you registered for above will help you with those elements.

1. A niche business In order to make any profit online you have to start out by picking a niche. While many people will tell you that you should pick something you truly love, this is not necessarily the case. You need to make sure there is a good market for your niche. For instance if one of your hobbies is only possible in your local town there probably isn't a good market for it online. You need to pick something you will enjoy talking about, but that also has a decent market to attract. While markets with less competition are easier to succeed in do not be afraid to tackle competitive markets as well, as there is usually a good reason why they are so competitive (they bring in the cash!). One of the major pitfalls beginners make when trying to succeed with affiliate marketing is trying to attract everyone. You don't need to be the next Google, or the next eBay to be successful.

2. A good promotional program

Probably the hardest part about succeeding with affiliate marketing is generating traffic, and getting customers to return to your website or blog. In order to do this you must first make your information interesting and useful. You can not just quickly slap a website together for the purpose of plastering it with Google ads and affiliate links and expect to attract any customers. Just imagine what you do when you go to a web page. Do you search for ads to click on? Most likely not, you look for good informative content that will help answer whatever question you may have. So the first way to promote your content, is by making it good enough to promote itself. Make your content, informative, interesting, unique and most of all useful to the customer and you will begin building a strong customer base. The next and more difficult step is driving traffic. We recommend investing your time in learning all there is to know about search engine optimization because this will be a major source of all your traffic.

We will not outline all the details but here a few of the ways that you can help optimize your website or blog for the search engines. Make a content rich webpage or blog and continuously add new information. Search engines like to see that content is being updated, and that a "set it and forget it" method is not being used. Get links to your page from other web pages or blogs using the keywords you think customers would search for. The more links to your website there are from other pages, the higher your page rank and the higher you will fall in the search listings. Contact sites that provide information or services similar to yours and link to their website in exchange for them linking to yours. Submit your website to multiple directories so that you can be sure it is even possible to find your website when the proper key words are entered.

Other ways to drive traffic to your website utilize many of the tools listed above so if you haven't registered with them you probably should. First we will discuss using Google groups. Google Groups is similar to a forum in that it allows individuals to post articles in a variety of different categories called groups. You can also start your own group and get people to join. The service is free and you can use it to promote your website. Create a helpful and informative article and post it on Google Groups, including a link to your website somewhere or at the end. If people want to find out more information they will visit your website and you will receive nice bursts of traffic from your article. It is important to remember that you don't just slap an article together as people will quickly recognize it as advertising and probably not listen to what you have to say. Make sure your article will really help the customer and make them want to learn more. You can also use Google Groups to post your affiliate links in and with programs like click bank you can earn 75% of the resulting sales.

Another method for driving traffic to your website is joining forums. Forums allow you to post information on a huge variety of topics. Be careful however as many do not allow self promotion and you have to be very careful in the wording of your posts. Do not join forums just to spam advertising for your website. Give legitimate responses to topics in the forums and include your link in the signature or at the bottom.

An under used tool for driving traffic to your website is eBay. If you have e-books or items to sell, post the on eBay with links to your website in the listing. This is a great was to generate traffic because, before purchasing a product many customers will visit the website to see if they can get it for cheaper or learn more information about the product. Also if people send you questions about the item through ebay you can refer them to the website for answers. Once again make sure what you are selling on eBay holds some value and is not made just for the purpose of allowing you to create a sales ad.

Other methods for generating traffic include you tube, and services like myspace or face book. Its easy to drive traffic with these services simply by creating a video about your product or service and including a link to your website at the end. Also you can target specific groups like "males age 18-30" so that you have the greatest chance of converting with these customers.

Dont Give Up, and Put in Some Effort

Now that you know some methods for driving traffic to your website, promoting it in the search engines, and making the website attractive to your customers, how are you going to make money with this information? Well you need to put in the necessary time and effort to make these strategies work. While many of them are simple they may take some time to get the hang of and patience will be required if you want them all to work. Do not expect to get 10,000 new visitors over night, and don't be discouraged if you just get a handful. Every visitor is important, and knowing that key concept you can tailor your website or blog to inform visitors and make them want to return.

Find a niche, create interesting content, utilize multiple outlets of promotion, find something to sell or use products like click bank to promote other peoples products, utilize ad services like google ad sense for additional revenue on the side and you will be on your way to establishing a successful affiliate marketing business.

There is still a lot of information out there to help you with affiliate marketing and you need to seek it out and learn everything you can if you truly want to be successful. Check Out I-N-Vest.com if you want personal assistance with your endeavors, or if you need some extra cash for your promotional campaigns. Lastly, good luck and don't give up, half the battle is just staying motivated and not letting all the little bumps in the road stop you.

Maximising Your Affiliate Commissions

It is an acknowledged fact that affiliate marketing is the ideal way for newcomers to enter the online business world. All the headaches associated with the development and maintenance of websites and products, along with the handling of customer payments etc is all taken care of for you.

As a new entrepreneur, you can therefore concentrate entirely on developing your marketing skills to attract customer interest in your chosen product, with a view to collecting the commission on your sales.

The first and by far most important factor which will determine your earning potential is the actual program that you choose to promote. As we all know, there are literally thousands of affiliate programs out there, so how do you choose the best one?

Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to this question; I would highly recommend that any new marketer would be wise to invest time in researching potential products to evaluate what will be best for them. A little time spent now will save considerable time, money and heartache later.

ClickBank provides a number of key data results that may help the decision process. Factors to consider include the commission level percentage and its associated dollar value. Another important consideration is the historical success of the product, however, a word of warning, whilst it may appear to be a good idea to choose a program with a high level of success, this will also attract huge numbers of other affiliates, the competition will be high, which may result in poor results for a newcomer to the field.

Once you have narrowed your selection, you will need to check out the product web site, dont be distracted by the hype, your own reaction is critical, if it doesnt grab you, then your potential customers will probably feel the same. Often a good site will have testimonials from users or even from professionals in the product field, check that full names and cities are given, initials can be suspect.

Once you have selected and signed up with you affiliate program, you will obviously need to promote it. No matter which program you have chosen, there will be considerable competition from your fellow affiliates. It is unlikely that a newbie will have the dollars to throw at an expensive advertising campaign, instead, there are a number of ways to promote your business that will cost you nothing at all.

Do some research about your product, after all would you want to buy something from someone who wasnt familiar with their own goods? You can then create a profile for yourself by the publication of blogs, articles and product reviews and by offering reports or short e-books. In your reports, you will want to provide valuable information for free. With e-books, you get credibility. Customers will see that in you and they will be enticed to try out what you are offering. The more articles you produce, the higher your profile and creditability.

Once you are comfortable with your publishing skills, why not try an online newsletter or Ezine. Please remember to give balance to your publications by providing useful information, not just a hard sell, you will build a relationship of trust with your readers, it is easier to sell to someone you know than to a stranger. This is the purpose behind publishing your own newsletter. This also allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers.

Whilst these are just a few of the many strategies that will influence the value of your commissions checks, be assured they will help your business.

Making Money with Membership Websites

by JD Reilly

Paid membership sites are one of the surest ways to achieve a regular cash flow on the internet. Paid membership sites are one of the leading business models online today. This is mainly due to the fact that paid membership sites offers more advantages compared to other types of businesses.

Compare it to today's fitness gyms. You have a place to exercise with all of the advantages of diverse equipment and an environment catering to fitness. However, these fitness gyms are merely membership clubs. Their money is made based on membership and a steady monthly income debited from your bank account.

Just hype and hoopla or the real stuff?

First off, let us understand what paid membership sites are. These are informational hubs that provide specialized knowledge in a well-packaged form. When you look at their structure, you can easily begin to see how profitable they are.

Suppose you were to set up a niche website on dog training. With some strategic advertising, you start getting members. You charge $50 for a membership and attract 200 members in the course of the first few months. What would your income be?

You would make a cool $10k every month, just by preserving your membership base. But you don't stop there. Suppose you were to spice it up a little and throw in a closed affiliate program for your 200 members. Suppose each of your members brings in 5 new members, what would the math be?

In one smart move, your membership base has suddenly expanded to 1000 members. Even at a 50% commission rate, you will easily make an extra $25k. And, you are nowhere near saturation. This is the power of membership websites; they are a recurring income model.

The Money Gets Better!

To further make money with membership sites, you could start handing out some multi-tier commissions to a public affiliate program, which would encourage down-line building. Clickbank is probably the best known affiliate site. As the number of people joining you increases, you get a fatter membership income.

Membership websites are the best way to procure self-reliant, subscription-based, continuous revenue. That is how membership websites beat one-time offers when it comes to making steady income. With a one-time offer, you have to promote your product every time. With membership websites, you start making money continuously from the moment a member signs up.

How much can you make? Your membership income depends on the magnetic power of your content. Fresh, updated content is what your members want. Providing content for membership websites is comparatively easy. Every move you make is targeted to please your subscriber base. Every thing you do, from creating new content to setting up an affiliate program, will bring you immediate revenue. Your ROI (return on investment) is instantaneous and massive.

So from the infopreneur's viewpoint, there are no useless gestures while making and maintaining a membership website. No setting up of a free blog waiting for people to come in. No need to provide content that caters to a wide spectrum of people. Just precise, targeted content and marketing.

How much money you make depends on the range of techniques you use to offer your market. There are a number of ways to make money with membership websites. You can make money through:

* Membership fees, which is your initial income. * Renewals, which is the recurring income. * Selling advertising space. * Sending endorsement emails. * Setting up an affiliate program.

And the secret is...

The secret to making huge profits with your membership website is to create an effective marketing plan and act on it without delay. Sounds obvious? You will be surprised by the number of marketers who forget to perform their marketing duties.

Make a to-do list of duties. Your marketing duty of the day may be a simple five-minute task like typing in a few comments about a new product or it could be as extensive as a one-year PR campaign. Whatever it is, keep chipping away at the huge list of people who have evaded you, one way or the other. This is the best way to multiply your turnover from membership websites.

Paid membership income is the newest internet giant that is only just waking up and flexing its muscles. It has still to rise to its full potential. Even so, stories of spectacular successes - and dismal failures - of membership websites are thick all around us. Of course, paid membership websites can bring you a decent income. They are also hassle-free.

Key tips to make money

So, if you are wondering how to make money with membership websites, here are some tips for you:

* Pick a niche that you are passionate about. Don't EVER try to fake it. Sooner or later, your members will catch on.

* Study your market. Are there other websites offering the same services? How does your pricing compare with theirs? How will your members find you in the crowd? What incentive are you giving them to join you?

* Deliver fresh content regularly. Give something very, very new to your subscribers. Articles, books, audios or whatever it takes. If you allow stale content to stay on your website for more than two weeks, you will start seeing an exodus of members.

* Is your unique content readily available offline? Choose a topic that is a little different from the ordinary or explore an angle that sets you apart.

* The aesthetic layout of your website is what makes the first impression on your visitors. Use a good design with clear and sharp graphics. Select color schemes relevant to your target audience and pick a neat and visually pleasing style. Opt for light images and use multimedia carefully. Studies show that a slow loading website loses more than 40% of traffic simply because people are unwilling to wait. Don't let that happen to you.

* Go for top-notch, cutting-edge technology on your website. Use tracking software, auto responders, shopping carts and automatic link submission software. Automate your work as much as possible. This leaves you with enough time to do more important work, like chalking out a new selling strategy.

* Advertise aggressively. Once your website is ready and everything is working properly, it is time to bring in your members. Let others know about you through forums and link trades. Sign up with Google or Adbrite. Post advertisements on search engines. After your website has picked up some, go for PPC (Pay per clicks). * Encourage interaction. Set up forums and blogs. Ask for feedback. Make links prominent so people do not have to run around searching for places to click.

* Offer trial memberships to ezine publishers who already have a large client base. Offer the publisher a percentage of your membership fee and they will promote you.

* If you have already established you niche, you can 'wholesale' memberships to affiliates who will buy from you in blocks. You can give these memberships as bonuses. It is a win-win deal for everyone.

* Learn from the experts: Invest in some coaching material. Learn how the experts became successful and duplicate their methods. Let other people show you the way. It's far simpler than clearing the path yourself. As they say, you can't make a dime without breaking a buck.

Your membership website could be about anything at all. All that matters is that there is demand for the information and a willingness on your part to over-deliver consistently.

Starting a New Home Business? Get Valuable Tips - By Cynthia Minnar

Starting a work at home online business is one of the most exciting and gratifying things you can experience in your lifetime is, but it is also equally as challenging.  A great deal of time and energy are required to get an online business up and running on the right foot.  Although challenging, there are some things you can do to ensure that you set yourself up for success.

The most important step you need to take when starting a work at home online business is to plot out an idea and start-up plan.  If you go into a new business without a plan is like jumping into an ocean with sharks.  You will get eaten alive by the internet and your competitors if you are not prepared.  A plan can help you prepare for obstacles you will face along the way.  Having a plan will also allow you to know how you will market your business and how to properly deal with your website visitors.

Only once you have your plan and know what type of business you are looking to start, you should move on to select your domain name.  Rather than just picking whatever name is available, you want to take the time to shop around and consider your options.  As crazy as it sounds, having your company name or something that symbolizes your business in the domain name can be extremely beneficial.  Try and select a short, catchy, easy to remember domain name.

The third step when starting a work at home online business is selecting your web host.  As with the domain name, you want to take the time to research and find a legitimate web host.  You will want to look at how reliable each web host is, how often customers encounter problems and how quickly the web host is at resolving these problems.

As soon as your work at home online business website with your domain name is up and running, it is essential that you begin marketing immediately.  Too many people delay this all important fourth step and run into the problem of waiting to market until the website is further developed.  The problem with this is that you will constantly be adding to and furthering your website.  By postponing the release of your website you are only delaying any potential business you could be getting.

Then lastly, make sure to give each visitor that comes to your site the time of day.  Return customers can be extremely beneficial toward getting your work at home online business off on the right foot.  They can bring you more business, give you a testimonial to put on the site, and recommend you to friends of theirs or others online.  Therefore, customer service should be of utmost importance to your business.

You will find that there are a number of critical facets when starting a work at home online business.  Things like quality content, creative designing, and constant marketing all have an impact on your success.  If you focus on these few key facets you will get your online business up and running successfully.

Improve ranking for your E-commerce site

Most of the E-commerce sites on the Net are based on content management systems, this means: URLs and pages are dynamically generated by the scripting language fetching all elements from the database.

It is very complicated to optimize such a site and it requires normally 100% professional assistance. I will show you, how you can resolve a problematic case like this on hand of the below information provided for your search engine optimization project.

Optimization for ASP

Sites completely dynamically generated means: all the displayed data such as navigation, all content, products, page titles and Meta tags are fetched by the ASP queries from the different fields in the tables of a database and then parsed by the engine onto the users screen through a browser. Fact is that search engine can only understand as much of this code as a person who has a good knowledge of html but has no clue of JavaScript, DHTML or scripting languages such as ASP or JSP. This person is probably not capable to write any queries to search the database and to display the results such as the content for a certain page on the screen. Search Engines can't either.

First requirement in a case like this is to retrieve the ranking status of the website in question at search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. If the web site does not show up at all (below the first 50 pages) be not discouraged, there are ways to actually improve ranking.
There are factors which should be clarified, check if there are any duplicate content titles and Meta tags. This is very often the case at dynamically generated web sites.
This has a bad impact on the ranking, when repeated data is dished up to the bots.

The head tags <head> here comes title and Meta data </head> are mostly generated by the use of an include file. Take care that as many pages as possible have its own and unique title tag and Meta data such as the description etc. Improving this will take you already further than you probably expected.

Duplicate content mostly found on product pages often without product related small articles, reflecting the keywords users probably will use searching for this product is also a draw back of dynamically generated web sites. In fact this is a common problem with most Ecommerce websites.

How to start?

Thus implementing the titles and Meta data plus content has absolute priority. Second is to wait a short couple of days to see the result after the spiders have indexed the new content. Mostly this first step pulls the web site over the 50 – 45 page rank.

To analyze the behavior and reaction of the search engines to their new treat is essential to take the second step, which would be adding additional keywords to every page and format your content properly using headers (<h1>) and <h2> etc. Assigning a hierarchic order to the content seems to have a very good effect on the ranking especially MSN and Yahoo search engine show mostly a significant increase in ranking.

The first ranking results

Do not be surprised when your site is ranking now in Yahoo at the third page and on the first page of MSN with some very competitive keywords, but you will realize that Google seems to be more resistant to present your site to the users searching the Net. It is therefore absolutely necessary to monitor the effects of your changes closely and daily to achieve a better result and to analyze all responses of the search engines.

It can even happen that your site shows up in MSN and it can disappear after a day or three again which can be really shocking because you have invested a lot of time and probably have sacrificed even your weekends to achieve better ranking results. Get into the code and check what is going on. Make sure that the code of the templates is clean XHTML and replace too many complicated nested tables with a more simple code and additionally clear everything out that can be handled by the Stylesheet. Best way is working following W3C recommendations and you will see this will improve ranking too. Rewrite the content and double check if there is no more duplicate content or Meta tags around.

Penalized

When your research shows that the site was probably penalized because the search engines have crawled URLS which offer the same content and products on different pages and that there is no way for you to resolve this because this is the way the site was set up then proceed with the following:

Add a robots.txt file and place it into the root of the server so the crawler is not allowed to follow the URLS with a query string (?). This looks something like this: Disallow: /*? This really helps, just try it.

Crawler-delay:

If you suspect that the spiders and bots avoid crawling the complete site because the site was build with hundreds of include files (server side includes) and this requires excessive time to load when the crawler comes to visit your server then additionally add a crawler delay to the robots.txt so that MSNbot will crawl the server more slowly (User-agent: msnbotCrawl-delay: 120) (User-agent: Teoma
Crawl-delay: 10) (User-agent: Slurp Crawl-delay: 10) just to name a few. This also really helps if your site gets spidered too quickly, especially if you're using ASP.

End results

You will see that complicated dynamically generated sites will rank very well and will hit the first 3 pages of Google, Yahoo and MSN in a timeframe of approximately 4 - 6 months after implementing the changes described above. Please notice that you have to be patient when it comes to search engine optimization. Normally optimization can take from 4 up to 12 months, depending how competitive your keywords are and how much content you have to offer. Building static pages with good written content always helps and is recommended. Remember to monitor the reactions of the search engines to your changes and act accordingly.

To achieve a good position, you may have already guessed, many factors are involved. It starts how the website is built and includes the content you offer and goes on to how accessible your navigation is to the search engines and how easy they can follow it. Also know that spiders hate queries because they can be caught up by these queries as spiders in a web and this is the plain truth even when it sounds like a fairy tale.

Many Benefits of Starting an Internet Home Based Business

1">

Internet businesses being run from home are booming… and they are set to expand in coming years as fast economically growing countries come on board to a much larger extent.

"Making tons of money in a home based business is not the only reason record numbers of people are starting home based Internet businesses. Home based business owners are finding a secondary benefit to owning a home business that is resulting in thousands of dollars in saved income taxes." - Stone Evans, PluginProfitSite.
So what is so good about an internet home based business?
What benefits does such an online business have over any other business?
What benefits does it have over a traditional "bricks and mortar" type business?
What benefits does it have over any other type of home based business, such as a multi level marketing business or a lawn mowing business or an accounting business?
Simply stated, starting an internet or home based business has three very clearly defined advantages which then lead to further benefits of which can not be obtained with other businesses.
These three advantages are….
1. Potential income earnings and market growth
2. Low initial monetary outlay or business setup costs.
3. The ability to work on your business part time.
Potential Income Earning and Market Growth...
Saying that business online has grown rapidly since inception of the internet, is not only a fact but also an understatement.
Constant news of increased spending online litters the news on a weekly basis, more people buying a much wider variety of goods, services and niche market products.
Additional markets that were not present on the web five years ago are now not only opening up but expanding at huge rates. Countries such as Chile, China, India and even Bulgaria are now online and their economies are growing at staggering rates. China and India would have to be the prominent leaders to date with their economies currently growing between eight to ten percent per year!
Such figures are shown through increases of people subscribing to internet services and companies expanding their digital networks.
Many people in these countries now wish to have all the benefits that we in the west have been experiencing for many years. The house, the car, the TV, the microwave, the computer and the internet and all the benefits that such technologies can bring, not withstanding status within their given society.
In addition, our own society has become much more familiar with the internet and the many benefits it brings. Expanded communication with friends and family, social forums and discussion lists on all sorts of topics, even dating is now a huge industry online.
This familiarity is now facilitating a trust of all things internet related and thus people are turning to purchases online with much less trepidation than years gone past.
And to put that in dollar terms, online spending has risen from $41.2 billion in 2002 to $79.2 billion in 2005 with increases expected to continue. [http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0921857.html]
Total people shopping online have gone from 66 million in 2002 to an estimated 136 million in 2007.
The fact that people are looking for such a wide variety of information has allowed thousands of solopreneurs working from home to earn more than better incomes. Incomes are being made from people offering information on their hobbies, their current business skills and many other tangible and intangible products.
Even people without their own products are bringing in profits by selling other companies goods and services, or even just selling advertising.
The potential for already established offline businesses is also huge. A good example of this is the tourism industry whereby most of the major players such as airlines, governments of major tourist destinations and some major hotel chains have been quick to capitalize on internets growth.
However there are a staggering amount of businesses of varying sizes that are missing huge opportunities to substantially increase customers and profits by developing and marketing their business online. This includes hotels, restaurants, clubs, sporting, leisure and health services just to name a few.
The fact is, no matter your current business size – online or off, your current experience with business – a lot or none, whether you wish to have a business working from home or start with an office, there is no rival for the potential of income or growth in any form in the world today.
Low Initial Monetary Outlay or Business Setup Costs...
Cost to start a restaurant? $100,000 to $1 million.
Cost to setup a shop in a major shopping centre? Maybe a little less than the above.
Cost to start a service business from home, say a carpenter? All your tools, advertising and insurance plus many extra's, maybe 10 to $20,000.
How much to start an online business?
A website (domain name) and hosting - $100 dollars a year.
However, if you have no experience with the internet there will be additional costs such as learning materials and additional software. All up you may spend anywhere between 1 to $5,000.
The fact is, the experimentation and implementation of an online business or web based business is affordable for the average working person, something that cannot be said of traditional business due to the usual immense start up costs.
Even the running costs of an internet business are so little compared to traditional costs. Then there are the advertising and marketing costs to consider, much lower than what offline business pays and something that they are even yet to fully comprehend.
The Ability to Work on Your Business Part Time...
I have left this section to the last, why?
It represents why many people don't go into business…. risk!
In most cases building and starting a business means taking many risks. A loan may be required, extensive experience in your business field, applying yourself to the business full time without backup income or another job, putting on employees and the list goes on.
An internet home based business can be started and established while still working a full time job.
It therefore eliminates risk from your daily life.
The mortgage payments, the kids schooling, the income to the house and your current lifestyle are in no way threatened. The business can be worked on part time from home, at the point that it establishes enough income to live off; your full time work can then be terminated.
If ever there was a time where the initial outlay in terms of money, time and risk to start a business was the least, now is that time and the internet is the platform.
No matter your experience or subject knowledge, there is money and a very good living to be made online whether you are an established business or wish to build an internet home based business.
Will you be grabbing your share today?

Why search engines cannot answer all your queries?

If you've spent considerable time looking for information in search engines, you'd know that many a time you just don't get the most ideal search result that would suit your purpose. Listed below are some obvious hindrances:

1. Search engines produce results based on search terms. If your search term doesn't match that of a product's website you ought to see, it'll altogether elude your attention.

2. Search results are in fact prioritized web pages. Since a webpage does not describe the full website, it is often possible that though you've arrived at the right website, yet you're unaware that your information is available in another webpage. You may probably give the page a miss.

3. Even if the 'most-suitable' product's webpage does find its way in your search results, it may be embedded deep inside the results that appear. It's hopeless to sift some 260,000 results or more to get your pick.

4. Search engines are constantly in a flux, altering its algorithm now and again to remain in reckoning for maximum usage by surfers, thereby affecting search results. What are there today, are gone tomorrow.

5. Many web pages are not optimized for top search results. After all, how many keywords/key phrases can one optimize for? And then, once begun, one has to cling on to it, lest others 'snatch' the prized positions. Clearly, for many, such exercise is time-consuming and costly.

6. All search engines are not equally popular everywhere. If Google is numero uno in US, many in continental Europe prefer MSN. Besides, many websites opt for PPC ads or other online ads in various lesser-known search engines and directories. Therefore to find your best deal, you need to extensively search at many places, which clearly is not a practical solution.

7. In places where internet awareness is high, mass emailing, classified ads, press releases, etc. are some of the preferred promotion techniques for many, instead of search engine marketing.

8. To economize cost vis-a-vis quick return, many websites with excellent products prefer offline advertisements to online promotion.

9. In fast-changing web-scenario, if products or brands are sold and/or re-branded, or if the owner-companies loose focus, even best-selling items get heaped at the bottom, though still available online. It's virtually impossible to locate them in search results.

10. Many websites are too large to be fully indexed by search engine crawlers, or may be too slow to obvious discomfort of the crawlers.

11. Just aiming top search ranking simply doesn't ensure a product's usefulness vis-à-vis your need. With proper optimization techniques, it is not difficult for any webpage to come on top in search results. Then again, for many websites, there is a mistaken priority to rank high in search results instead of providing quality information to the viewers.
The bottom-line is that unless you plough through your searches with dogged determination and armed with a fine comb, chance is that search engines may not fetch you the answer you want, and want it now! In my experience, on an average, 6 times out of 10, I don't get the *ONE* I want.

And then consider the time it takes. Not many of you can or will spend an entire evening or two for just one nagging query. Also, few searchers are able to query intelligently since searching with requisite syntax is a specialization itself. To add to woe, this varies from one search engine to another.
